Disaster Overview : In early 2022, Timor-Leste experienced a dramatic surge in dengue fever cases, marking the deadliest outbreak in recent history. The epidemic, declared a major public health concern by the Timor-Leste government on January 15, affected 12 out of 13 municipalities.
