Disaster Overview : On April 8, 2016, Uganda's National IHR Focal Point notified the World Health Organization (WHO) of a Yellow Fever outbreak in Masaka district, located south of Kampala. From the onset of the outbreak on April 9, 2016, to June 8, 2016, the Ugandan Ministry of Health reported 68 suspected cases, with three probable and seven laboratory-confirmed cases. These cases were reported from Masaka, Rukungiri, and Kalangala districts. Sequencing results indicated that the clusters were not linked to the outbreak in Angola.
