Disaster Overview : The Bulusan volcano, located in the central Philippines, experienced a series of eruptions beginning on November 6, 2010. This included the ejection of ash and steam that reached as high as 500 meters into the air. The explosion affected several neighboring towns, with ash falls impacting 14 barangays across three municipalities: Casiguran, Juban, and Magallanes.
