Disaster Overview : On March 22, 2013, a powerful tornado struck rural areas in the Brahmanbaria district of eastern Bangladesh. The disaster resulted in 26 fatalities, left 388 individuals severely injured, and impacted 1,633 families. Additionally, over 1,400 houses were destroyed, with more than 100 homes sustaining damage.
