Disaster Overview : In June 2013, Haiti experienced severe flooding due to heavy rains on the 14th, 15th, and 28th. The flooding affected the Artibonite, Nord-ouest, and Centre departments. Six people lost their lives, and over 6,600 families were impacted by the disaster.
