Disaster Overview : Starting from 26 November 2019, Malaysia experienced significant heavy rains leading to severe flooding and landslides across several states in Peninsular Malaysia, including Johor, Kelantan, Pahang, and Terengganu. The torrential downpours temporarily displaced approximately 15,000 families and resulted in two fatalities.
