Disaster Overview : Thailand faced a series of severe floods and landslides from August to November 2021. These events were triggered by heavy rainfall due to low-pressure systems and monsoon influences that swept across various regions including the Andaman Sea, the Gulf of Thailand, and numerous provinces. Major provinces affected included Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Nakhon Ratchasima, Prachinburi, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chiang Mai, Lampang, and many others. The disasters resulted in significant population displacements, casualties, and extensive damage to properties and infrastructure.
